This would be a really Great Offer if it were actually true! Let's examine this promotion closer! There are two sides to every home sold through a Real Estate Agent and Her or His Broker. There is a Listing Agent that lists the home for sale and a Selling Agent that actually sells the home.
Listing Agent
The Listing Agent is the one that you sign a contract with to list your home for sale. This agent and his broker are responsible for listing and marketing your home to potential buyers as well as looking out for your best interest. The charge for this can range from 1.5% to as much as 5% or more. (0% if you buy a home first from some agents) The typical listing fee is 3%
Selling Agent
The Selling Agent is the person that actually Sells the Home. They are the agents that show your home to potential buyers and represent the buyers best interest and they do not work for free! It is up to the Listing Agent to set the Fee paid to the Selling Agent and it is typically between 2% and 5% but is usually 3% you pay this fee!
So buy your home from me I will sell your home free really means I will list your home for free and you still pay to sell your home as much as 3% - 5% or More and you still have to buy a home from them.
